Over 55 years ago, our journey began on our family's farm in Earlysville, Virginia. With a single truck and a small workshop, Jimmy and Betty Shifflett founded James E. Shifflett Electrical Contractors. Their vision was simple: to deliver exceptional electrical services to the Central Virginia community with integrity and passion.

More than five decades later, that legacy continues to shine brightly. Now operating as Lightwell Electric, we’ve embraced a new name and a new location, but our core values remain unchanged.
